Volunteer

The Cheyenne Children's Museum (CCM) is excited to begin looking for friendly, positive and dependable individuals to help us with a variety of volunteer roles as we prepare to open our doors in the Fall of 2024! If you love working with children and their families and want to help us provide a one-of-a-kind place and WOW! experience for our community, we invite you to apply to our CCM Volunteer Program.

Minimum CCM Volunteer Qualifications Include:

  • CCM Volunteers must be at least 14 years old (Please Note: A signed Parent Waiver & Release Form is required for any volunteer under the age of 18)

  • All CCM Volunteers must attend a mandatory orientation where they will receive and review the CCM Volunteer Handbook, learn CCM's mission, values & volunteer service guidelines in order to represent the museum positively and enthusiastically

  • CCM Volunteers should be friendly, positive, dependable and genuinely interested in helping us become a one-of-a-kind place to ignite imagination and provide a WOW! experience for all generations in our community

  • We ask that CCM Volunteers commit a minimum of one (1) shift per month for a minimum of six (6) months (Volunteer shifts are typically 2-4 hours each)
