Parking is free at the Cheyenne Children's Museum and on-street parking is available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional private lot parking is reserved for CCM Members, special event guests and visitors and can be accessed via the alleyway south of the museum.

Daily Admission Tickets include full-day museum access and are available on a first come, first served basis (subject to building capacity limits) and can be purchased in person at the Cheyenne Children's Museum. Please note that Daily Admission Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable and can only be purchased in person at the Cheyenne Children's Museum.

Museum Policies & Visitor Code of Conduct

To provide a safe, respectful, education and fun experience at the Cheyenne Children’s Museum (CCM), all Visitors must agree to follow our Rules of Safe Play, and all other museum rules and policies. Questions may be directed to info@cheyennechildrensmuseum.org

  • Daily Admission Tickets are available for purchase at the museum on a first come, first serve basis and include full-day access to the museum. All are non-refundable, non-transferable, and valid only on the date of purchase. 

  • As a nonprofit organization, the Cheyenne Children’s Museum relies on membership and admission support to provide innovative exhibits, programming and learning opportunities for families in our community. All memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable and are to be used by the people named on the membership. Individuals listed on the Membership upon purchase (or accompanying/subsequent Member Add-On purchase) cannot be altered until the following membership year.

  • The Cheyenne Children’s Museum regularly captures photos and videos for educational, promotional, and archival purposes. Photography or videography of visitors, especially children, are taken with respect and consent. By entering the museum, visitors grant permission to the museum to use their image, likeness, or voice in photographs, videos, or other media. Visitors who wish to opt out of being photographed or recorded may notify CCM staff upon arrival. Visitors are welcome to take photos/videos of their children and families and encouraged to share and tag in their experience on social media.

  • For the safety of our visitors, we do not allow any children without adults, or adults without children. Children must be accompanied by an adult (Ages 18+).

    1. All Visitors must check in at the front desk upon entering the museum. Adults entering without children are subject to our Unaccompanied Adult Policy

    2. Children must be supervised by an adult (Ages 18+) at all times during their visit 

    3. No pets are allowed in the museum

    4. Eating or drinking is not allowed in the exhibit hall and only permitted in designated areas of the museum

    5. Alcohol, tobacco, vaporizers, illegal substances, firearms or weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited on museum property

    6. Visitors wearing or otherwise displaying obscene messages, symbols/language of hate or content of any kind that is generally inappropriate for a children’s museum will not be tolerated

    7. Aggressive and threatening behaviors of any kind towards staff or other museum visitors are not tolerated and will result in immediate removal from museum premises

    8. Tampering with, defacing, damaging, destroying and/or removing any museum property, including exhibit components and/or props is prohibited

    9. Visitors must follow all verbal and written instructions of CCM volunteers and staff

    10. In addition to the rules stated above, CCM does not tolerate any activity that threatens museum operations, disrupts the ability to provide a safe, welcoming and family-oriented environment, or is illegal under city, state and/or federal law. CCM reserves the right to add, change or update these rules at any time

    CHEYENNE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM LIABILITY WAIVER

    By purchasing a membership, general admission ticket, visiting, or participating in any activities at the Cheyenne Children’s Museum (the “Museum”), you, on behalf of yourself and any minors or guests accompanying you, acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

    1. Assumption of Risk
      I acknowledge that participation in activities and use of the Museum’s facilities, exhibits, and programs involve inherent risks, including but not limited to, personal injury, illness, property damage, or other unforeseen risks. I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with my visit and that of any minors or guests accompanying me.

    2. Release and Waiver of Liability
      I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Museum, its directors, board members, employees, staff, members, volunteers, vendors, agents, representatives, attorneys, predecessors, successors, and assigns (collectively, “Releasees”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury (including illness or death) incurred while visiting the Museum or participating in any Museum activity, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.

    3. Indemnification
      I further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Museum and the Releasees from and against any and all claims, causes of action, or lawsuits brought by me, my family members, my guests, or anyone on my behalf, including attorneys’ fees and related costs, arising from or related to my visit to the Museum or participation in any Museum activity.

    4. Parental/Guardian Consent
      If I am accompanying or responsible for a minor, I confirm that I am authorized to provide this release on their behalf and assume all risks associated with their visit. I acknowledge that I am responsible for their safety, supervision, and compliance with Museum rules and policies.

    5. Medical Treatment Authorization
      In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Museum staff to obtain medical treatment for myself or any minor in my care and understand that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

    6. Photography and Media Release
      I understand that the Museum may take photos or videos of visitors for promotional and educational purposes. By entering the Museum, I grant permission for my image and that of my minor children to be used in Museum marketing materials without compensation. If I wish to opt out, I will notify Museum staff in writing.

    7. Agreement to Museum Policies
      I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to abide by all Museum rules and policies. Failure to comply with these policies may result in removal from the premises without refund.

    8. BY PURCHASING A MEMBERSHIP OR ENTERING THE MUSEUM, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER AND AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY ITS TERMS.
