Field Trips & Group Visits

Group Rate and Eligibility

• Discounted Admission: $7 per child for groups of 12 people or more (children and adults combined; adult chaperones for group visits are not charged admission)

• Group Size: 12–80 people per visit

• Booking Availability: Tuesdays (museum closed to the public to facilitate group visits); Group Bookings are limited to 2 hours per visit

• Advance Booking Required: At least 14 days in advance

Booking & Payment

• $50 dollar not refundable deposit due at booking

• One Payment Required: Group payments cannot be split and must be made in a single transaction

• No Additional Discounts: Museum memberships and other discounts cannot be applied

• Final Headcount & Payment: All reservation adjustments must be submitted and confirmed to the CCM Front Desk before the scheduled field trip/group visit date; All group visits must be paid in full 7 days before your scheduled visit unless otherwise specified.

Chaperone Requirements

• Required Ratio: 1 adult for every 6 children; Any additional adult chaperone that exceeds the 1:6 student ratio will be charged the discounted admission of $7 each

• Chaperone Responsibility: Adults must actively supervise and engage with children.

Group Visit Policies

• Lunch & Snacks: Food and drink are not allowed in main museum spaces; outdoor patio space available for sack lunches (weather permitting)

• Behavior Expectations: Groups must follow museum rules to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience

• Rescheduling & Cancellations: Any scheduling adjustments must be made a minimum of 7 days prior to your scheduled visit; Field Trips/Group Visit cancellations are subject to a 50% cancellation fee
