Elevation Design Weekend Art Lab
A fun, interactive, immersive, and hands on art workshop designed to expose young artists to a variety of mediums and techniques. Students will receive expert instruction from a veteran art teacher and leave every workshop with a unique piece of art they created. Every month we offer different classes. Coming up on Saturday, September 12th we've got Sculpting the Earth, a plaster landscape workshop. Seats are limited to 16 students. Appropriate for ages 8+ Workshop cost is only $35 and includes all materials
Take on the role of water to shape your very own fluvial erosion landscape. Utilizing plaster on canvas panels, acrylic paint, and a healthy dose of geological curiosity, students will construct a three-dimensional art piece that explores the incredible erosive power of water in the desert.
Through this hands-on project, we will examine how this key geological phenomenon shapes the complex and beautiful landscapes right here in Wyoming.
